Job Responsibilities

The Industry Relations Account Management role is a-typical and varies every week. One day, you could find yourself building relationships with industry partners by scheduling demonstrations to drive pipeline, fielding calls and emails, or strategically working alongside our sales team to prospect agents. On another day you might be attending events and leading webinars to create brand awareness and education. By working with Marketing, we are building repeatable, scalable campaigns for relationship growth.

  • Relationship Building: develop, cultivate, and own relationships with relevant influencers and partners to generate new business opportunities, accelerate existing sales opportunities and drive revenue for Closinglock.
  • Communication: Develop and implement communication plans to ensure influencers are informed about the Closinglock products.
  • Collaboration: work closely with internal stakeholders, including executive management, sales, marketing, and product to maximize awareness of market opportunities and the Industry Relations impact.
  • Events Management: Plan and manage events, webinars, and meetings, including industry conferences and trade shows, to enhance the company's profile and build a community of advocates.
  • Reporting: Track and report on sales metrics, strategic objectives, and initiatives to senior management.

Your Background

  • You enjoy creating and nurturing relationships with people, driven by a sense of curiosity, emotional intelligence, and empathy.
  • You are a high-energy, creative, and resourceful self-starter who demonstrates leadership skills, ownership, and personal accountability.
  • You have a strong ability to prioritize work within a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in business development, channel sales, account management, or partner role.
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as a team player in a team environment.
  • Are comfortable working with ambiguity.
  • Attention to detail & demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of sales tools/CRM like Salesforce, Microsoft Office, Salesloft
  • 25% of travel varied by seasonality.
